Sterling silver 925 means the piece is 92.5% pure silver alloyed with other metals for strength. It’s the international standard for fine silver jewellery — pure silver alone is too soft for everyday wear.

Silwear uses both, and each product page states which. Natural gemstones (sapphire, ruby, garnet, and others) are ethically sourced; some designs use synthetic or lab-created stones (like American Diamond or Cubic Zirconia) to offer the same brilliance at a lower price point.

Rose gold, yellow gold, and rhodium plating are available on select pieces, shown as options at checkout. Rhodium plating typically carries a small additional cost.

Use Silwear’s ring size chart, available on every ring product page, which converts between US sizing, Japan sizing, and millimetre diameter. If you’re between sizes or unsure, message us on WhatsApp with your closest estimate and we’ll help you confirm it before your order ships.

Contact us before wearing or altering the piece. Because rings are made to order, we can typically remake a piece to the correct size — reach out via WhatsApp or email as soon as possible after delivery.

Custom pieces follow the same production timeline as standard orders — made within 15 days of confirmation, with delivery taking approximately 2 additional weeks depending on your location.

Yes, engraving is available as an add-on for select pieces — look for the engraving option on the relevant product page

Silwear accepts card payments (via Stripe), bank deposit, and installment plans through Koko and Mintpay — installment options split your payment into smaller amounts over time. Available methods are shown at checkout for each product.

Yes — every product page has a direct “Order on WhatsApp” option if you’d prefer to finalize details or ask questions before purchasing.

Silwear makes and ships every order within 15 days of confirmation. From dispatch, delivery takes approximately 2 additional weeks depending on your location.

Yes, Silwear ships worldwide. Delivery timelines outside Sri Lanka may vary slightly depending on destination and customs processing.

Returns or exchanges are accepted within 7 days of purchase if the item is unused, unworn, unaltered, in original condition, with the original invoice and packaging. Silwear reserves the right to inspect the item before approving any exchange or store credit.

Custom-made or bespoke jewellery, personalised or engraved items, pieces made to customer-specified sizes or designs, discounted or promotional items, and earrings (for hygiene reasons, unless a manufacturing defect is proven) are non-returnable.
